Tonight you’ll be reading a section from the Animator’s Survival Kit by Richard Williams. Besides having an awesome first name Richard was also the lead animation director on “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”.
Most of this reading deals with hand-drawn animation but a lot of it is applicable to all types of animation. Don’t forget to type up your proposals for next class and if you have any questions let me know.

What you need for your flipbook – Due on Tuesday.
- The flipbook should be about 100 pages
- A long reporter’s style notebook works well.
- Pages that are a little thinner will make it a little easier to see what you previously drew.
