Open Automator
Automator is located under Applications > Automator

Choose “Workflow” and click on “Choose”.

Drag all of your images into the “Drag actions…” window

Drag the rRename Finder Items action over
- Search for the term “rename” in the search bar.
- Drag the item named “Rename Finder Items” into the actions window.

Choose to click “Add” when the warning shows up.

Setup the location for your newly named images to go
- Under the To: drop down select Other…
- Create a new folder for your images by clicking New Folder.
- Give your folder a name.
- Click on Create.
- Click on the Choose button.

Setup the rename and click Run
- Choose Make Sequential
- Click on “new name” and give your animation a short name
- Choose Place number after name (optional)
- choose space as your seporator (otptional)
- Choose make all numbers 4 digits long
- Click the Run button to run the script

Choose File > Import

Import your image sequence
- Click on the first image in your animation.
- Make sure the “Image Sequence” section is checked.
- Click on the Import button

Your image sequence should be ready to edit and export in Premiere Pro
